Release of information about Ebola in Portugal

The Portuguese national authority – Direcção Geral de Saúde – has released information about the Ebola. The Directorate-General of Health (DGS) is a public body of the Ministry of Health that positions itself as a reference for all those who think and operate in the healthcare field.

The DGS website contains permanently updated information on their respective areas of intervention, including advice to travelers. Its also available a Health Emergency phone line (808 24 24 24) for further clarifications as well as the phone line from the Office of Consular Emergency(961706472  or 217929714), which works permanently for emergency situations occurring abroad.
